Giving In

Getting home at 5:30am every morning is exhausting. Court was at 10:00 this morning, so I got a whole 3 1/2 hours of sleep. Since I had court my husband got up this morning and took Miles to school. I set the alarm at 9:30am and got up. As soon as I step out of bed I hear little feet walking towards my room. Miles walks in with a big grin on his face and my husband is walking behind him. My first response is , Why is he here? My husband immediately replied and said as he pulled into the parking lot of the school, Miles began crying and stating he didn't want to go to school. My husband told him that he had to go and tried to encourage him by telling him he would have a great time. After hearing Miles pitiful cries my husband couldn't take it anymore and quietly left the school.

First Day Of School

Morning Before School

OH my God, he's going to school today. What am I going to do? Noone has ever watched him before besides me or my mother. I have known his every move for three years. Now, a complete stranger is going to watch him. He's going to be around other kids. What if they have lice, or a cold or their sick. I wonder if they do background checks on the parents.. Ok, I know Im a little paranoid. Oh know, what about when my little one has to go to the bathroom, who's going to watch him. He has trouble aiming. How are they going to help him? I don't won't them helping him. These thoughts have to go.

After School
How was your day son, School Sucked Mom....Should I laugh, should I be angry for the way he is talking? I simply ask him why baby, why did you not like school? His reply, I don't won't to go back. Remind you, this is Miles first day of ever being away from home, and he is only three. What else could I expect. The teacher said he did well, but did cry a few times. My poor little man. I did get to sleep though, so that was really nice. I can't remember the last time I had more than four hours of sleep. I think I may like this school thing. But hey it is the first day for the both of us. We will see..
